10 Times Business Enterpreneur, Wanneka- The Hair Boss, Made Us Fall In Love With Nigerian Designer, Sue Manuell

  1. October 3, 2017evening gown

The hair boss had her birthday shoot in outfits by Sue Manuell but this sky blue evening gown caught our attention more. The dress which has 2 layers after the knee was embellished with royal blue appliques. We love the deep V cut. Everything about the dress looks good for a bride’s first look on her traditional wedding day.

  1. September 24, 2017ankara style

Wanneka had an entrepreneurship meeting which she attended in a 2 piece by Sue Manuell. The blazer and trouser was made out of 2 different patterns of Ankara which does compliment each other but if you are not up for the long stares from the streets, then maybe you shouldn’t be trying this look. However, we look forward to finding someone pull off this look for the 2017 Lagos Fashion and Design Week (LFDW) happening in a few weeks.

  1. August 3, 2017kimono

Wanneka was on a holiday but her love for Sue Manuell meant she had to travel with a piece or more from the designer. This evening, she was spotted rocking this 2 piece. We love how the designer opted for a transparent material for the kimono and then designed it with a strip or 2 of the Ankara fabric.

  1. June 11, 2017floral prints

Not sure what Wanneka was celebrating but we guess sit was floral season for her. Not only does the colours of the jumpsuit catch our attention, the sleeves are definitely in line with the big sleeve trend.

  1. May 7, 2017ix and match prints

Remember the mix and match prints for a 2 piece we showed you earlier, here is another mix and match print but this time as a gown with a knee length slit in front and bell sleeves. This dress was up for a giveaway and we have been on the lookout to see who won it and how they rocked it.

  1. April 3, 2017george material for igbankwu

Where are all the Igbo brides in the house looking for how to rock that George material other than the 2 wrapper style. Well, Wanneka has given us a style inspiration. You still get your 2 steps but this time as a gown and then you ca opt for a beaded blouse or make it as a gown and let Sue Manuell do the embellishing.

  1. April 2, 2017barbie doll dress

Finally something for those who want the Barbie doll look. There is nothing regulat about this dress with the neck line and opting to pair the dress with nude pumps futher endeared us to this look.

  1. March 23, 2017touch of ankara

Everything looks better with a touch of Ankara and this dress proves us right. The blue dress got life breathed into it with the Ankara cut outs strategically placed on it. Wanneka opted for a yellow bag and shoes which gives the look a blue and yellow theme.

  1. March 12, 2017ankara jumpsuit

While this is a jumpsuit, it creates the illusion that Wanneka has a corset placed on top of the jumpsuit which you can try to switch up your outfit if you have worn it before and want to give it a different look. However, this is how the jumpsuit was made, not as an attachment.

    2016high low dress

We wrap it up with this high low dress with applique placements on the upper part of the dress. Wanneka paired it with red court shoes that has a brooch on it.

Wanneka and Sue Manuell have definitely come a long way. To see more stylish looks on Wanneka, follow her Instagram page, @mizwanneka.
