Apartment Tour: The Top Studio & Terrace in Prague

An ideal apartment for a romantic get away and for creatives!

Hello Tectonic, how have you been? As you must have noticed on Instagram, I am currently in Europe for the fall. The weather is still a bit warm though it is very chilly in the wee hours of the morning and late at night. This made the top terrace and studio an ideal spot for my first fall night.

This is the first time I am booking an apartment. Usually, I stay in hotels as the platform I use has never given me the option of apartments. I guess this is not really their area of specialization but they may have realized the need to diversify, ensuring that they do not lose their client base to other competing platforms.

Overview of The Top Studio and Terraceapartment view of Prague

The first thing that attracted me to this apartment was the view. All I could think of was how cool it would be if I was to have a romantic dinner there. Besides, I wanted to start the holidays detoxing my mind and finding some inner peace. If there is anything that does that for me, it has got to be the sight of beautiful views.

The apartment is located in the Karlin area of Prague. It is 3 stops away from the square where I went to watch the signal festival. Around that neighbourhood is a number of stores, pahrmacies and the church. It is also 4 stops away from the major bus station, Florence where I go to get my KFC fix. The building seems safe with codes that are made available only to residents as well as a chip.

kitchenWhen you open the door of the apartment, what meets you is the kitchen which has some cupboards with cups, plates, pots and other cooking utensils. You also have the fridge, microwave, hot stove and the electric kettle. Now that is the thing about having an apartment. You get all of this which lets you feel at home even when away from home.

bedRight infront of you is the door that leads into the bedroom which doubles as the living room. I guess I forgot to mention, it is a one bedroom apartment. Here you have your bed which is big enough to take 2 people, 2 bedside lamps, a small table with 2 chairs, a television and a fan. The walls are nicely decorated with frames of historic places in Prague. This is your opportunity to get to know the city even before you step onto the streets. The host has a brochure which should also help you with getting around.living area

From the room, you can already see the view which makes this very ideal even in the cold. You do not need to step out of your room to enjoy the view. However, to get a better view of the city, you should step out to the terrace. The host has a nice comfortable wooden table with 2 chairs, some flowers and a lamp.Karlin

Price

Staying at the apartment cost me 43 Euros and you can book your stay using this link. If you do, you will get 15 Euros off your booking on any hotel or apartment. Let me know if you do in the comment section. I will also like to know your preference- hotel or apartment!
