This week on Oma’s closet is a rather interesting one. The theme is a bit tricky but with the brands’ names before the description should at least help your thinking. It is all about the lips and the jacket as spotted for the launch of Dolce and Gabbana Velvet Collection.
Just over the last weekend, I was at the launch of Dolce and Gabbana’s velvet collection trying to seek out my velvet with the rest of the guests. Now, I had already picked the Velvet desire but thought maybe I would change my mind. Unfortunately or fortunately, I stuck to this scent. So, if you are looking to make my Christmas red, you could consider this scent.
For the event, everyone spotted my waterfall jacket by Mango which I wore on top of a Microsoft top that I love because of its inscriptions. It says,, ‘Coding is fun’. So, away from the techy meaning, ravelling things seems to be something that I love as it keeps the mystery together.
Asides the black jean which is barely visible, the next thing that you can see must be the hair which was already twisted by Roots and Tips but I got to style it with a few tricks which SoTectonic will share on Instagram. But if you can guess how I got that, be my guest *wink*
To complete this look was a dose of zaron Cosmetics lipstain and I chose the chilli shade. Just like the name, it made the lips hot red and I must state here that I didn’t have to reapply that lipstain all through the event, through the delicious cupcakes by I am Cookie Jar and the shawarma that I ate after the event. My lips stayed chilli-ed with just a little fade yet so visible into the night.
Thanks to Kelly for the images *kisses and hugs*
To get the Zaron lip stain, visit any Zaron outlet and purchase for 2,750 Naira. Review of all the other lipstains including Chilli will be up on the blog by tomorrow.
Do you love my look? Let me know so that I can have a smile for my styling or maybe I should put in more effort *smiles*
