Samsung Galaxy Note 5 launched in Nike Art Gallery

Yesterday the 7th of October, 2015 was  the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The launch which took place at Nike Art Gallery was a mind blowing one for us as Samsung gave us the opportunity to experience art even while soaking in all the awesomeness of this new device. 20151007_151850

The event which was well attended by the media started with a tour of the devices on display and was hosted by the brand’s ambassador, Banky W. We spotted Olori Supergal, Demola Expoze, Tuke morgan, Cassie Davies, the TechCity crew and so many others.

Just at about 3:30pm was the opening remarks by the managing director, Brovo Kim and then a  quick demostration by Stephen and Simon who coincidentally have their names start with S just like Samsung. Simon and Stephen told us a few amazing features which we will be looking out for when we do the review, particularly the video collage and the ability to put a stream of pictures all in one page. We also got to experience the live streaming feature of the device as was being coordinated by our friends at TechCity.

Samsung made available a writing wall. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to write on it cos we had to work as soon as we got there but, people did write and of all the writings, the most original one was by Mr. Kunle from Telegraph and he won a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Jealous right? *lol* Well, he got blessed and we know he will enjoy the device cos the Note 5 ought to be every writer’s dream gadget. 20151007_151639

Olumide Ojo gave the closing remarks and it was time to mingle, network, bite and drink. We also got to meet the amazing lady that owns the gallery who is fondly called Aunty Nike. 20151007_150603 20151007_144129 20151007_144117

Thank you Samsung for a beautiful event. You sure do know how to think outside of the box. 2015-10-08 07.46.08

To our amazing readers, What will you like us to look out for when we review the device? Let us know so that we are sure to address that for you cos we are here because of you.
